Hi, I am trying to modify the Advanced Search to search for Title, Author, Publisher, ISBN for starters, and was wonder if some one had already been down this road. I've edited the tpl_Advanced_Search_default.php in my template, just having fun with the header_php.php.

Any info would be great.

Have you looked at the book mod by moku (sp) . . . start in the contribution forum. This is touted as a great add for books.

Yes I have, but there is nothing on searching or advanced searching that I have seen.

If you have these terms in the item description i.e. ISBN, author, etc. The search function in Zen is global and will find these items. So the functionality is there. If you want boxes for specifically entering the ISBN, author, etc...then this is not part of the base code. These types of entry boxes could be added through custom coding.

Please explain the Item Description, maybe this is where I am going wrong.
I will require the separate boxes but I will deal with this later.

When you add a product there is a text box for the item description. This is the area that I am refering to. The terms here are searched.
