    Default Quantity problem

On the catalog page, when we view all products its still displays "out of
stock" as quantity, even if our products is for call for price. Is there any way that we could disable this feature??

To let you know what im talking about you could go to www.cardinalceramics.com/catalog to check it out. You may click all products and it says out of stock.

I have double check the settings and its set to "In stock"

    Thanks guys

call for price is different than stock level...do you have these in stock? and if so is this quantity entered in the product area as a non-zero quantity?

Yep. Its set to zero. But all i want to see there is "In stock". If i put a value it will show that theres a quantity. We are trying to hide this because customers may think that we only have a limited stocks of it when actually our client is producing millions of these everyday.

So your client has millions, but are these in your stock?

There is no switch that I am aware of that will use the "In Stock" image as a default. This can be custom coded but is not a selection native to Zen Cart.

You might want to try this and see if it does what you want.

in admin -> catalog -> product type -> product general -> Show Quantity in Stock set to false.

Now you should be able to add quantities to your products but the X units in stock will not show up just the call for price.

I know this is not exactly what you had in mind but it as close as I can come to it.

As Kobra said, it will take a bit of custom code to get the "In Stock" message to show up.
