At the end after you print it shows the 20 numbers on the receipt page.. I copy and paste them line by line into each order. Realize tho that I am using the "usps+info-at-a-glance+quick-update-order" version that allows me to update stuff from the quick view of the orders on the side so I don't have to goto the details page each time.

It's not the best but there's no other way that I've found.

In orders.php that info is shown in the sidebox when you look at the 'edit' page. But in Super Orders it only shows in the shipping cost line when you go to the 'details' page. And if you do an 'edit totals' then it only shows the shipper (from the orders_total table), not the method. Guess I'll have to bug Frank (Blindside) about that one.
You should easily be able to add that info the the sidebox on SO too.. That would be the only way I can think of unfortunately... tho i will give the variable set a try. I'm wondering if I can make javascript execute different code based on the page.. Now you got me thinking..... bad stuff (good stuff) happens when I start thinking

    ~UPDATE~ v1.3

USPS.com added 2 new fields to the Click-N-Ship form. So I added those fields to the contrib:

    • Updated admin/includes/module/usps_autofill_button.php to include support for 2 new fields on the USPS.com website:
    o Get Tracking updates (checkbox)
o Email field for Get Tracking updates
Now you can set a default email address for automatic tracking updates that will email you when a package is delivered.
    • Updated usps.sql file to include new fields.
    • No other files were changed. If upgrading from v1.2, simply use the new module file and run the sql.

I've uploaded the file to the downloads section. Might take some time for the admins to authorize it.

I've got a problem where if a customer pays with PayPal Express Checkout, everything is fine and all of their shipping information passes through to USPS correctly, but if someone pays using a Credit Card with Website Payments Pro, none of the shipping information transfers to USPS.

    Any ideas?

Do you offer any other payment types? do they work ok? USPS mod shouldn't be affected by the payment method, but I don't use Paypal Pro... What happens when you click the usps button with these orders?

Does the Zen-Cart order view show all the info tho? I'm wondering if the WPP uses a separate address location than the ORDERS table, but that would be strange. Unfortunately I don't have a WPP account. Any chance you can set up temporary backend access for me to take a look.

That sounds really weird to me since all the information for the shipping address should be in your database unless you are bypassing the checkout_shipping page like PayPal Express wants to do or your customer is not logged in to your site in order to make a purchase. You might want to rethink your checkout procedure.

But I thought zen-cart also stored a copy of the address locally on the way back... but yea if there is no shipping address in the database, then usps contrib won't be able to find it.

Has this been resolved? I have the same issue with 1.3.9h.
I use FEC as well. Does this have anything to do with it maybe? This completely kills the joy. I just switched to WPP and now have the USPS fill issue as described above.

Okay, today (March 18) USPS changed the input form. The Auto-fill no longer works at all. Goes to old, non-existant page. New input page is: https://cns.usps.com/go/Secure/Label...iveryCountry=1, but that, of course, is not a script location.

Autofill script calls for this page: https://sss-web.usps.com/cns/labelInformation.do which no longer exists.

Anyone able to figure out how to patch this thing? Another issue is that they now want a first and last name. Will require manually adding a dash or something for one of the names and telling the script to put the entire name in either field.

Hope someone can figure this out. Manually filling out USPS forms is NOT fun at all.
