i just cannot figure out how to make a product downloadable without having to go through the payment cart.

I have made it downloadable using the sticky but I am getting a wierd tag after my attribute.

'Download: zipped [was: +$0.00 now is: Free]


how can i make it free without it saying it used to cost something.

On the Attribute when adding/Editing the Download ...

You could turn off that message with:

Attribute is Free
When Product is Free:
No Yes
