reducing image size in category listing

Hi.

Have searched threads but cannot find the answer...

How do I reduce the image size in my category listings?

When a user selects a category and the listing comes up, the images of the products are a bit too big.
How do I make them smaller?

Admin > Configuration > Images

The product list uses the small images settings.

is it possible for the images in product listing to use the _MED or _LRG versions instead of the thumbnail size?
