Template not showing in Template Selection

Once you've copied the template to your templates directory you can select it from the admin panel. Go to Tools --> Template Selection. Then press the Edit button. It will give you a pull down menu with all available templates. If you don't find a template you've copied over check to be sure you've copied the correct subdirectory, the one containing template_info.php. If you have then check your file permissions. The directory must be world readable.

Just don't get it why I don't get it :)

I still only have the idea that the template_info.php isn't being read even though permission are ok at 755

What program are you using to edit the template_info.php file?

It may be that your editor is not a Plain Text editor and is fouling up the file.

I am having this problem as well, I copied the whole template folder correctly, /includes/templates/my_template/template_info.php is there, permissions are correct, file format is correct, still can't get it to show up on the drop down menu
