Thanks..I guess I'll have to rename my admin folder back to "admin"...I had changed it as per recommendations. when I run the localhost/zc_install/index.php it complains abount not finding the configure.php

Yes, that's one caveat; however for the 2 minutes it takes, it shouldn't be a huge problem. There's no need to edit the /admin configure.php file for this process... just rename the folder.

I was glad to hear that i didn't need to change the settings inside of configure.php...Mind you that wouldn't have been a big effort either.
I did have one problem : I couldn't access /zc_install...kept giving me an error - said I should contact the webmaster.
I did look at .htaccess and uncomment the last two lines as it indicated - but still the same problem. I finaly deleted the .htaccess an every think went okay.
