Also, I have stock management set to false.
Set Minimum and Units both to 1 on one of the Products that gives the error ...
Does that fix the problem on that Product?
If so, your products are setup with the incorrect values, the defaults are:
Minimum 1
Maximum 0
Units 1

I think this needs a fix. The quantity box is also on the cart page.
Scenario:
No quantity box on the product page. User may still return to the product page and add that product again, or wish to add another on the cart page. If you have quantity turned off on the product page, quantity is still listed on the cart page, but not in an editable box. The rollover on the update cart button tells a user to highlight the quantity and change it. You can't.
I would suggest the option to turn off quantity box on the product page, and turn on quantity box on the cart page. Isolate these two.

Here is my scenario:
I have a product that is priced $1.00 to use as a donation. The $1.00 price is hidden. The customer can now enter in a quantity that corresponds to the amount that they would like to donate.
Here is my problem, how can I change the qty number just for that product in the cart from the actual qty that the customer entered to a qty of 1 but still show the orginal final price of the product qty? I have been looking at the shopping_default page and haven't figured out how to modify it. Any ideas?
Thanks! :)

If the add to cart button is sitting on the quantity to add to cart ... just change the button to look like:
Donation Amount
vs
Add to Cart
and keep the qty input box so they just type in the Donation same as they would the number to order on a Product ...![]()

I'm having this similar error on my site. I get a quantity in the cart, but there is no box and the quantity amount is not editable.
This looks very familier to me right now and I cannot figure it out. This thread of my origonal problem was, I thought with the Purple Shades template but it has turned out not to be the case......http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45224
I can put my DB in a clean, unmoded, install of 1.3.6 and the error shows up.
Can someone assist as I am having no luck fixing this.
Thanks
