remove product listing drop down

On my page where all products are listed, there is a drop down box to sort products. I want to remove this, but cannot find it. How do I go about removing it?

You mean the Alpha Sorter?

The Dropdowns are controlled in the Configuration ... Product Listing ...

It's a dropdown to sort by product name, price, date added...

Why would you want to remove a convenience to your customer?

You would need to customize the tpl_ file to not display that ...

Comment out the line:

require($template->get_template_dir('/tpl_modules_listing_display_order.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'templates'). '/tpl_modules_listing_display_order.php'); ?>

Commenting out that line seems to produce only errors. This is in tpl_product_info_disply.php, yes?

I don't want the 'sort by' drop down box to appear at all. I am setting this up as a gallery with the option of later switching to a store with cart, etc. As a gallery, the drop down box serves no function - at least that I want.

EDITED: Never, ever post the zen_id or zenAdminID (session id) in a forum, email, newsgroup, newsletter, advertisement, etc. etc. etc. or you will be doomed ...

IF copy the file to your templates and overrides directory then edit the file:
tpl_products_all_default.php

and then you comment out that line of code with // in front of the require then it does not display the dropdown ...
