Multiple Domains

Hi, I am trying to set up my store on two domains (domain1.com and domain2.com) and i want them to use the same database, so that the information only needs to be updated on one site, as i have approximatelly 600 products.

Thanks

Re: Multiple Domains

Question: why dilute your brand with two names? Why not just have one redirect to the other main name and build one brand name?

Good luck,
Scott

Re: Multiple Domains

Multiple domains sharing one database is not a bad idea.

And each domain may be positioned differently in various search engines.

Re: Multiple Domains

Providing the content on each is different it can work otherwise it'll get a bit of a penalty. If the content is identical then it's better to use rewrite rules in the htaccess.
