Currency Not showing - need decimal place

I am sure this is a simple fix but I can't find it. I am in the process of setting up the site, and put one item in for testing purposes. I sell in CAD which is set to the default, but I show no prices just a number (26) comes up. If I switch to the US currency it shows the prices.........what do I need to change to make CAD show? Check your Currency settings ...

Do you have the definition correct? Including decimals ...

Also check who is set to be the Default currency ...
