firefox vs explorer

If anyone can steer me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!

My site looks fine in Firefox. When I look at it in IE it has white space between the left sideboxes.

Also, is there any way to keep the entire page centered in IE as it is in Firefox?

have you altered the left column and right column css ?

I haven't altered the column css, but they are blank:

Don't want to speak too soon, but it looks like it's fixed.

.leftboxheading { color: white; font-size: 12px; font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Verdana, Helvetica; font-weight: bold; padding-top: 5px; padding-left: 27px; height: 31px; border-bottom: 1px solid gray }

Just changed the "padding-top" to 0px and the space is gone...
