Categories without products.

Is it possible to avoid displaying categories without any products in?

Yep in Admin , goto

Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories with 0 Products Status >

can be set to 1 On or 0 OFF .

This doesnt seem to work on subcategories that have no products in as they still show up. Should this be the case? Or do I have to disbale them all manually through the admin?

I dont think that serves the purpose here
That only puts a 0 if set to 1 if the category is blank
Correct me if I am wrong!

I think it needs to be done maually, that is how I did it.
