when using group discounts tax is wrong

Hi This may not be the correct place for this question, not sure if it should be among payment module instead, but here goes:

When NOT using any group discounts all order total and tax calculations are OK , but as soon as I add group discount the taxes are way off, it seems like the tax is calculated before the group discount is deducted , Is there a way to change the order so tax are calculated on the sum after the group discount have been deducted.

I have played with the setting in taxes and group discounts and nothing seems to do the trick

Lots of fixes and changes have been made in this area; you really need to upgrade.
