.centerColumn alignment problems

There's probably an easy answer to this but I'm having trouble with text alignment and padding because when I change .centerColumn both the heading text and content text below it are affected. For example, on EZ pages pages I'd like centered heading text on a background, but left-aligned text in the content box below. I'm also having problems with this on product category pages. Is there a simple way to solve this?

.centerColumn applies to the entire div element. If you only want to center the heading, the property to h1 instead:

h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
margin: 0.3em 0;
text-align: center;
}
