Can I do this with Zencart?

Hello,

I have been looking at Zencart and looks great.

My question is this, what I want to do is build a directory of antiques that have sold at auction so that it builds up into a reference of prices achieved.

So there is nothing for sale just a picture of the piece a description price and date it sold.

Is Zencart suitable for this purpose does anyone foresee any problems or does someone know of anything else that may be better suited.

Have you looked at the Product Types such as the Document Product?

If you were to set that to No Add to Cart in the Catalog ... Product Types ...

Select Document Product and hit the Edit button ...

Uncheck the Add to Cart ...

Now you can do all the pricing etc. but no buying ...

You can then customize the tpl_document_product_info_default.php if you wanted to and make it more Antique like ...
