ZenCart Guru's, Is this possible?

I am adding ZenCart to a site I previously designed. I have been able to modify the template files and get the cart to integrate into the site nicely. There is however, one thing I would like to do, but don't know if it's even possible.

I would like to have the home page of the site (not, the home page of ZenCart) be able to show the small featured items box from the sideboxes of the store. Now, I know the fisrt difficulty would be trying to get information from the cart onto a page that is outside (one directory up) of the cart's "catalog" directory. I assume this may be solved by having an iframe on the sites home page that points to a page inside the ZenCart directory that only contains that featured item box.

Now, if the first part is even possible (by iframe or another method), I would then need to figure out how to make a page with-in ZenCart that only has that featured item sidebox displayed and nothing else.

So, do any of you ZenCart guru's know if this is possible and how I would need to go about accomplishing it?

Dr. Byte wrote a mod for this - It's somewhere here on the forums - sorry I can't find it right this second, but it IS doable and there is a detailed explanation of how on the forums.

If the page where you are going to have the boxes is not PHP, DrByte's module won't work for you. You will need the one on my signature.
