Default Copying Products from one category to another ?

Is there a way to copy hmmm masscopy (and massdelete) products from 1 category to another without them being linked ?
My problem is that when a product is clicked the prev/next buttons link to products in
    same category

I have Cat 1 with SubCat 3 and SubCat 4 all my products in 3 and 4 are coppied to Cat 1

When browsing in Cat 3 and you click on an item it shows the item being in Cat1 and not 3. so when clicking next/prev. button it goes through Cat 1 (which is SubCat 3&4) and not only 3.

so my idea would be to copy ( as opposed to them being linked) all products so when selected in whatever category it'll keep browsing there instead of going to another cat.

What version of Zen Cart are you using?

I am flipping through a Category of Linked Products via the Product Price Manager or Attributes Controller and stay in the same Category ...

I cannot reproduce this error ...

Are your Products imported or all were added manually?

Could you peek in your products table via phpMyAdmin and make sure all products have a master_categories_id set?

Okay ... I need to peek and see what's up ...

If you could PM me an Admin URL, login and password ... and where you are having this issue in your Admin ... I will peek when I get a few minutes and see if I can spot anything ...

You have Categories and Products mixed in together ...

    Categories hold Categories

    -- or --

    Categories hold Products

You cannot have both Categories and Products in the same Category as strange things will happen ...

Does this problem only exist where you have these mixed up like this?

well in 1.3.5 i have a separate category where i listed items from 3&4 among others and also it seems to jump to the original cat. instead of staying consistant in that cat.

you can see it here you'll notice that as soon as you click on an item it switches to the original category of the item.
