remove HOME: breadcrumb only

i followed several threads... most telling how to remove the breadcrumbs all together.. I found one thread about removing the HOME breadcrumb only but it ended in a dead end. thanks in advance.......

Along the same lines, I was wondering, how can I, if it is possible, change the word "Home" to something more specific. If someone like myself is adding a shopping cart to a Web page already designed, wouldn't it make more sense for the "Home" in the breadcrumb and the main navigation bar to read "Shopping Cart Home"? If people got to the shopping cart from a different set of pages, they would think of "Home" as the index there. I added a link back to my true Home page next to the "Home Login" links but would love to be able to change the word "Home" up there to "Shopping Cart Home" or "Shopping Cart Main Page" Or else just remove the main navigation altogether and put my own navigation on the pages I want to.
