    Default free shipping over a certain price

    is there a way (attribute or otherwise) to have it do free shipping over a certain price? like all orders over $250 FREE SHIPPING?

    Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ...

    Edit the Shipping and set the Free Shipping for Orders over amount ...

    I am assuming you want all orders over 250.00 to be free without exceptions ...
