Why is this link on my Main Page activating when a Manufacturer Is Selected?

I added a link to a website on my main page, <div align="center"><script src="http://www.sheetmusicdirect.us/affiliates/searchBanner.jsp?affiliate=55280"></script></div></p>

Now, if I click on a manufacturer from the sidebox, I am sent to the link instead of having the products from that manufacturer show up on the main page as before.

What happened and how could it be fixed?

I have so far found the manufacturers list in Admin-Catalog-Manufacturers, but I don't want to link to manufacturers. I just want all of the products from the manufacturer to be called when I click on the manufacturer.

Also, I want to use the manufacturer's box for publishers also, and was thinking of putting a suffix or prefix, i.e., mfr or pub, on the manufacturer or publisher name, and was wondering if that would work to distinguish one from the other.

Update on preceding question: The link only takes over the manufacturers sidebox on the main page. The link does not appear when in category views, and the manufacturers sidebox works as expected on pages other than the main page.

I guess I would need to deactivate the manufacturers sidebox on the main page and have it show on sub-pages if I am to use the disruptive main page link.

I would like to know the cause of this problem, though, if anyone has a thought on it, thanks.

Thanks for responding. I was working on my WAMP server and had deleted the products from my site which has not gone live yet. This a.m. I populated my site for purposes of review of this problem.

Tell sheetmusicdirect.us that their javascript needs rewriting.
They open a <form> tag but don't close it. That's bad HTML coding, and is conflicting with the <form> used to display your manufacturer sidebox pulldown list.

Thank you. I will certainly let them know. But for my contact to take me seriously, I would like to let him know what exactly needs to be done to their link, as I do not see a form tag in this link, although I do see a paragraph tag that is not opened but is closed (most likely I put that </p>in there for my page's purposes):

Is there some code I could enter myself to close the form tag?

My alternative is to research how to not show the Manufacturers sidebox on the main page but show it on subcategory and product pages.

You can see there that the javascript they use to inject their code into your page is written badly, and does not close the <form> they open.
