How do I add image borders to Main_Page Items?

Help,

I am helping a friend (non computer programmer) update his zen-cart from 1.2.5 to 1.3.5 and having a few problems. I have managed to border the side boxes using images and they work fine.

The problem Im having (not being a PHP genius) is the centre column boxes. The old version is working fine - http://www.munkeygames.com but the test site of the new version (1.3.5) is my problem http://systemh.co.uk/shop

Is there a genius out there that can advise how to fix the problem??

I see the borders there but they are broken, this it appears is due to the sizing.

This new site isn't 100% width and therefore the images contained in the new products/featured products are stretching beyond the size you have allowed.

One solution would be to change the number of images per row on those settings, the othere would be to stretch it out to 100% as it is in the original site.

I have taken out the error of images being displayed wrongly and got it back as it was before I started trying to make it work.

The boxes in the centre are needed to look like the sideboxes, with image sides and base. Ive managed to get the header or the boxes to change in size as the window is re-sized but cannot figure out how to get the sides and base working.

Can anyone talk me through how to install this bit im struggling with or show me some version 1.3.5 files that work the way im looking for?

Help.

Still cannot figure out how to make the centre boxes look like the side boxes. I have made 2 new pictures, one for the left side and the base also one for the right side and the base, both are the same width as the top pictures to allow the box to change size if the window size is changed.

Where in the style sheet do i add the pictures to make it work correctly?

The places i have tried only add one picture, the left/bottom one but instead of displaying it round a box like new products it adds it round each picture in that box.

If there is a genius out there who can help, please do. Ive been experimenting for a few days now and its giving me a mega headache
