Hi there all, I have a problem here.

I have upgraded to 1.3.5 and -- wow. Okay, so here's my main problem. On the previous install, the main content was pushed accross the screen. The right menu was removed all together and that main content (like featured products, new products, etc) stretched to the remainder accross to the right area where the old right menu boxes would appear.

I can't figure out where I can fix that.

Any ideas?

If I understand, you want to turn off the right sideboxes. That would be in the admin under tools layout boxes controller.

Thanks, I tried that. Must be doing something wrong...

I did finally find it in the tpl_main_page.php file and commented out the right menu. Once I did that, it worked. But if there is a way that does not need coding, that would be better!

Sound like the cart was holding a space for side boxes that weren't showing for lack of content. I have no right sideboxes on my site and all I did was make sure all boxes for the right side were turned off.

ok duh..... go to admin>configuration>layout setting>Column Right Status - Global and set to 0. That will turn off right sideboxes regardless of there settings.

That seems right. But at least it is what I want now.

The next problem is I can't get my "cart" box on the left to show up. I put something in the cart, but still, nada. It is turned on too.
