USPS http: to https:

Hi there,
to avoid having to search for the code in my clients site I will just ask. the site is running a and old version of Zen cart 1.2.4.1 and it has the most recent version of the USPS module for 2.x in it, does any one know where I will change the protocol for contacting the USPS servers from http: to https:?
if no one does I will do the work and find it, but no point in reinventing the wheel.

Can you explain why not? The email I got from USPS clearly states that everyone will need to switch to HTTPS protocol in September and the new server: secure.shippingapis.com

The lady at the post office 800 number mentioned something about that to me when I called her about going to a live server.

I see the messages on this forum but why is Zen Cart going to be able to continue working if it is a https connection. I have lots of sites that need fixed and I don't understand what to do.
