I have read some on the forums and this looks like a good one.

Has anyone had any experience with this one or is there a native Zencart one to be developed soon?

You guys started recommending that affiliate software a week after I dropped $100 on the idevaffiliate. Do you recommend I just consider it a sunk cost and use the jam.jrox.com? Has anyone with experience using both done a side-by-side comparison of them? I'm not so much worried about the money I spent, as I am about using the right affiliate program.

Post Affiliate Pro does all I need + with latest version it can track affiliates even when cookies are deleted and between browsers:

I had iDev quite a short time, so I can't provide good comparison, but there's a free tool to do that:

Does anyone know if Jrox can track affiliates with cookies off and between browsers? Would be great.Originally Posted by eide
Many thanks :-)
No, it has classical cookie tracking - as most of the other scripts out there.
I would say JROX is fine, but quite average script. It can do basics most merchants need and it's free. BUT only up to 250 members - and I can't find the price on their website at all - but I've read somewhere on forums that for more than 250 you pay $250(verify this info yourself) - and that's way too much for such script.
250 affiliates is very small amount - but switching affiliate solution is really pain in the ***. And costs a lot.
Yes it can be a pain - even more so for your affiliates at that point.Originally Posted by eide
Do your homework and pick the one that's best for you from the beginning. There is no "best" in the market as far as features go - each seems to have some that others don't. Other intangible factors to look at include support and reputation.
Also, the market is quite fragmented. There's even some affiliate software vendors without an affiliate programme - go figure :)
Post Affiliate Pro supports tracks with use of Flash cookies, 1st and 3rd party cookies and IP tracking to ensure affiliates are credited with as little "leakage" as possible.

Thanks, Martin. Great info :-)Originally Posted by eide
Do you happen to know if Post Affiliate Pro can also track a product that is posted on a static HTML page?
I have only a few items, and they are listed on static pages. The customer enters their quantities and options and stuff and then clicks submit to submit those items to the cart. The cart itself can continue to keep track of the shopping cart even if the customer goes back to the static pages, but I'm wondering if Post Affiliate can still work with my static pages, too.
Many thanks :-)
