Sheesh... if only I can remember exactly how, but I'm not about to replicate it again.

I tested something out and uninstalled it, bringing the same situation to light. I got worried and tried to look for left behind files, but there were none. I thought I would have to drop something from the d/b and I didn't want to bother. So, then I experimented in the Layout Boxes Controller and I 'think' I clicked on "info"(the letter i in a circle) of the missing sidebox and it gave me the option to delete, so absolutely I did and everything cleared up. It wasn't the Wordpress mod, but I would imagine the same option goes. Hidden little Easter egg in Zen Cart... I love it when things work out easy, a lot of thought went into the project.
