Well my problem is fixed but it sure seemed like a round about way to fix it. I searched again on my problem and found a post about taking the encryption out in myphpadmin and resetting the password with md5. This did not work for me (as it didnt for the other person as I read further). But someone then suggested to try the Forgot your password function one more time and it now does work!!!

Not sure why the forgot your password function needed a little kick, but it did seem to work.
