In the /images directory create your folder for your images that you want.
In the admin > catalog > Categories / Products > and the product entry screen there is a dropdown at the right of the upload image entry, select the dropdown and select the folder that you created. Then upload your image using the browse button.
I must be blind.
All I can see at the right is:
Text Editor:
Categories/Product Display Order:
Search:
Go To:
Matt
If I click on one of my products I can see in the bottom right:
Upload to directory:
I uploaded all products using a .cvs![]()
Do I have to change the path in the .cvs ?
Matt
Since you are doing this via a DB upload of a .cvs,,,one would think that you know what you are doing. This might populate the DB with the data but the images are not included in the DB. A lot of work for what you call organization, are we talking about 10's, 100's or 1,000's of items?
I have like 60 products and use eazypopulate.
I just like the fact that I can edit the cvs and change everything. If the price goes up $1 for all products it's not much fun clicking on all products and change evry one.
I changed the path in the cvs to the image subfolder and it works fine. I upload the images via ftp, all together.
