Can I do it so when new members log in, the form is set for UK questions instead of US (state, zipcode etc)? Do i need to upload uk_template or is there something i can change in admin?

Those labels will need to be edited in your shop/includes/languages/english.php, or you can use the UK Template. There are several other changes you will need to make too - like 'lb(s)' to 'kgs' - the UK Template will have them.

Make sure you use override folders for your changes so you don't lose them when you next upgrade.
