We are just about to integrate this, but would like to check something first (and I do apologise if it was answered before, I just can't seem to do a sensible search today )

Does jrox allow the comission to be used ONLY as credit store (assigned to customer's account) and not as a payout or (even better) a combination of both?

There is no built-in functionality in Zen Cart to provide store-credits, apart from issuing gift certificates. There is no affiliate system currently offering this added functionality to Zen Cart in an automated manner.

However, you could use a manual/check/custom payout method (instead of paypal) within jrox jam to prepare a list of folks to send gift certificates to (ie: instead of cutting a check), and then use the Zen Cart admin area to email gift certificates to them instead of sending a check.

What DrByte said is correct.

JAM can not directly issue store credits to ZenCart, but you can mark JAM commissions using a custom/other payment method to mark them as paid, then issue them gift certificates in your zencart store.

This is what we intend to do as well. I have it installed and we're just testing but I love love love this module.
