I will try that just for a test in case someone else has the issue too.
The client has decided that she isn't phased about taking the CVV number now. She's taking the CC info manually. Its just a good starting point for her to have the initial CC details to call the client back with, then ask for the CVV.
I'll chat to her about trying it out as a test, she's pretty cool.

oh edit -- I had both of our emails in there together (to back her up), but having taken mine out now, it all works fine. Cheers
