Default CSS is broke or something after install

I had two ZC test sites that I had working on a site and I didn't look at them for about a month. When I returned to look at them and work on them a few days ago, I got a screen that was all messed up and I thought they were hacked.

I then installed a fresh installation in a new subfolder and when I go to the main ZC catlog index page, I see the same, messed up page....so I realize it was no hacking. It looks like there is no CSS for the page and looks awful. I don't know where to start looking because I can't accurately describe the problem. However, I imagine there's a simple explanation for the problem and it may have been answered before.

    I've included a screenshot below:

Looks like a conflict perhaps with an .htaccess file ... might look to see if there is one in the catalog directory and rename it .htaccess_HIDE

    Does it fix it?

If not, rename it back and look in the root directory for your site ... is there an .htaccess there? If you rename it .htaccess_HIDE does it work?

If so, check and see what the .htaccess file is doing or not doing ...

Hmmmm....there's an .htaccess in the /includes folder that I tried hiding, but didn't work....none in the catalog folder.....and hiding the one in the root folder didn't work either.

Do you think it's a matter with permissions? I have noticed that trying to change permissions with my ftp program doesn't always work and so I have to go into cpanel to get the job done.

It could be a number of things ...

Have you an URL that we can look at?

Remember, this happened out of the blue....when I worked on it one day it was fine, and a month later it was all whacky. Strange, strange....you can see it at http://www.presidential-inauguration.com/posh/

Doing a view source looks like you knocked out anything to do with the stylesheets ...

Switch to Classic ... does it come back to life?

Switch back to your Template ...

Can you look to see if there might be some wrong permissions on the directories/files?

Just to put closure to this, I contacted my hosting service and tech support was "95%" sure that the problem was due to the server I was on, so the switch is being made. Thanks for the help, Ajeh.
