Qty Box Size

When I add a product to my own cart, and I am in shopping cart contents page, the default is 1 in the qty. field.

A customer can go in and change that quantity to another number such as 2. Most of my product will be purchased in 1 or 2 but the option is open with no MAX. I can put 1200 in there and update it. I DON'T WANT someone to do this, either on purpose or accidentally.

Is there a way to change the field to ONLY accept 1-99 also making the size of the box to accept 2 digits and not unlimited amounts of digits?

Hi ,

when adding products , there is a field for maximum quantity ( usually set to zero for unlimited ) set this to 10 , and if a customer enters 999 it will automatically adjust to 10 , while giving the customer a warning message.

this is on a per product basis.

Do you know where I can edit the code to reflect that it will be defaulted at "10" when adding product? I've had defaults placed in that part of the admin by someone else, but I have not set any defaults myself.

In the same screeen while editing products

Product Qty Units: 1

set this to be your default number ( default is usually 1 )

You can use a Mod called easypopulate to do this if you need to do it on bulk.
