One product in many categories

I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to make one product show up under other categories. For example, if I'm selling a t-shirt of a felix the cat, i'd like it to show up under t-shirts but also under cartoon characters. Is there a way to do that with one product? Otherwise when a customer searches "cat" they will get both t-shirt listings even though it's only one t-shirt.

Does that make sense?
