I only have one shipping method, is it possible to skip step 2 when checking out since there are no selctions to make?

No, the only way to skip the shipping option is if the products are all free shipping or virtual.

well when shipping out there are three steps, step no 2 is to select shipping method but we only have one method so there is nothing to select, that is why I feel that it is a little more effective to skip that step while checking out
