Meta tags buttons disappeared from the admin Categories console

Hello,

I am running 1.3.0.1, new install.
All is running smoothly in the new store.

What I noticed is the absence of the Metatags buttons in the Categories screen of the Admin interface. You know, those that look like BMW's logos: orange and black.
For each product line on hte screen (right end of it) I have the usual buttons of "Actions":
e,x,m,c,A,$

The last button used to be the Metatag button. It is no longer there in my console.

The view source of the page shows that it is not rendered anymore:
