no links for downloads.

I have followed every thread I could find on the download difficulties and I can not get the link to show up in the 2C0 sale. I'm at a loss and I don't know if it is a file problem, or a followup to the sale problem.

I have the download files showing up as found- green light. It is showing as associated with the product . The download files are in store/download. Chmod 755


I've checked the file names for no special characters etc & have used the test files as products.

I've turned the default attribute to be marked selected: yes.
I've set the numbers to "3" for delivered,
I've set the update number to "4".

??? -Should the radio button on the customer page show "empty" so that it can be clicked? No matter what setting I do (tried both yes & no) it shows filled with nothing to click.


The process_2checkout.php is in the top level of the store directory.. /store/

Of note: The demo sale goes through the 2C0 system, but no link info is give either on the screen, nor in the subsequent email copy.

Don't use 2 checkout myself but paypal...
My paypal settings(via admin..payment modules) are
Set Pending Notification Status
Pending [1]
Set Order Status
Processing [2]
Links to downloads are NOT given in client email, but link should be shown when
purchaser logs into account, after payment.
Radio button preselected
i.e. default attribute to be marked selected: yes

I logged back in as the customer (who did the demo sale) and there are no links shown. The sale does not show in history either.

I am obviously missing just how the purchase of downloads are processed.

With my other non-cart sites I've handled downloads using a program that did a pastback paramater to the script which generated an encrypted download link that was included up within the payment process as well as generated a link in an email to the customer.

Could someone please clarify the step through process for me so I know what is expected?
