Is there a way to get the cart to collect the shipping address phone number?

I am also looking for the solution of the same..... as we are running gifting site we need to take contact number of shipping... is there any mod for the same or any help for the same...

If you were to trace down the word:
phone

with the Developers Tool Kit ... you would see all of the places where this is used and how to manage the field ...

You would need to add the new field(s) to the orders table and add the information for display on the orders in the admin and update the orders class to the new field ...
