Login Issues

Hi all,
Can anyone help me to resolve this issue, when users click on the login button there just issued with a blank page:

Why is this?

Hello,
I am having this same issue. When the login info is entered, and the login button is pressed, it brings you back to the same page.

This means a customer can't get to the checkout.

Any help would be great.

Hi! I just started a new thread on this - am having the same troubles after the carts been working fine for a while. Very odd.

I just ran the upgrade to 1.3.6 and now my cart is working just fine. Not sure why that fixed it but it did. :)

I ended up fixing this issue by turning off the Recreate Session option in: Admin > Configuration > Sessions.

I'm not really sure what that option is for, but it works now. I am still in the process of putting together my site, and am a little leary of upgrading to 1.3.6... This is my first Zen Cart site, and while I think I have the overrides system down pretty well, there may have been a few hiccups in the very beginning. It might be a good idea to upgrade, and then if anything is broken, fix it right for any future upgrades.

Maybe you should give the upgrade to 1.3.6 a try. I was reluctant because I was afraid it would break everything, but overall it went relatively painlessly. It allowed me to find all the areas where I went around the over rides system, and fix them.

I've replaced the new installation with my old files (Not overwriting) seems to be working fine now. Thanks alot..

As for upgrading to 1.3.6, i've tried, but it keep prompting mi to upgrade/patch my database.. How should i go about doing it??

I have the same issue and I noticed the following. I went to check the the value (it was failse) and noticed:

"Recreate the session to generate a new session ID when the customer logs on or creates an account (PHP >=4.1 needed)."

Interestingly my ISP recently ugraded PHP!

I set the value to "True" but it made no difference.

I am using the SEO patch

Anyone else any clues?

Turn off the SEO stuff ... and any other mod-rewrites ... does it work now?
