    Default Yet another paypal problem

ok bit of a wierd 1 this

im just setting up paypal ipn on my site and initial;ly couldnt get it working

but i then created a test product and place an order and everything went fine

so i thought id try another product and see how it went but when i order 1 of my previously created products (by previously i meen they were created b4 i starting setting ipn up) and i placed my order but then after being taken to paypal and and paying and then back to my checkout success page the order wasnt showing on my customer orders list or in the admin, so i did another purchase using my test product and all was still fine with that but no matter what i do if i place an order with a previously existing product the orders just get stuck and if i creat any new products and order them they work fine
im using zen 1.3.5 which is a clean install and not an upgrade

cany any help im pulling my hair out here!!!

    thanks

Which currencies do you have active?
    Which country are you in?
Are any of these products taxable? Is tax being calculated on *all* these orders, or just "some" ?

When you enable PayPal debug-logging, what are the results reported in the logs?

were located in england we have all the default zen cart currencies active (us dollar gb pound , euro, canadian dollar and aussie dollar)
there is no taxes set for any products and as far as i know tax is not set to be calculated on *all* products but i would have to check that setting

have got the logging enabled but not sure where the log file is located

The log files are generated in the /includes/modules/payment/paypal/logs/ folder, as long as it's writable (ie: chmod 777)

Did you enable logging in the module? Admin->Modules->Payment->PayPal->Edit
