froogle vs Base, difference?

hay guys.

Iv been uploading my products using the froogle feeder. However- i noticed that my products dont show up on froogle at all.

they only show on google base. which i cant seem to find alot of links too, so im wondering why this is? does everyone have this same problem? or am i missing somthing?

i want them to show on froogle since that seemed to be doing quite well for us when it was working. we noticed that sales had slowed some, so when looking into it, this is what we found...

any help would be great.

i cant find an answer to this anywhere. can someone please point me to the correct thread, or tell me weather or not these 2 google services are joined somehow, or how i can upload my products to froogle?

Google Base is the new name for Froogle.

Yes, they used to have a froogle upload and a google base upload. Now there is just google base for the upload.

Now for shopping froogle and google base are still around.

They just did this so they could condense down all the bulk uploads.

alright, but then why do my products only show on google base.

We should clarify
Base is not the new name for Froogle; it is unclear what will become of Froogle. Base is Google's answer to Yahoo! Paid Inclusion, granted with MANY more benefits. Essentially you can upload content or a feed of content to Base to be distributed through Google Search, Maps, Froogle, etc. Base has many of the features and benefits of a comparison shopping site and simlarities with Froogle leaving many to believe one is the replacement of the other.
