How can I get rid of the "New Products" Box?

For various reasons, I do not want a "New Products for (month)" section shown to my customers.

Is there any way I can either get rid of that section entirely, or even let something else wind up in that box (like an RSS feed or the like?).

I'm just using the basic template, and I only saw sidebars in the layout boxes controller.

Anyone know what I need to do?

You can start with admin > config > index listing > Show New Products on Main Page > set to "0"
Check the other items there or remember that several are there.

Search in the box ^^ above and enter new products as there are other screens where this shows up the you may want to adjust
