Error When Adding/Editing Product Description "an appropriate representation ..."

Hi there folks,

I'm getting the following error when I try to enter OR edit a product description:

Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /zc/admin/product.php could not be found on this server.

I've tried changing from the HTMLArea editor to plain text, deleting the product and re-adding it, adding a fresh product but nothing seems to work.

The strange thing is I seem to be able to edit other information for a product. It's just the description that I'm all of a sudden having issues with. And like I said it was working find just a couple hours ago.

Any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.

mod_security is your problem. Your host has likely just enabled it or changed its restrictions.

You could try adding the following to the bottom of your /admin/.htaccess file as a possible workaround:

<IfModule mod_security.c>
    SecFilterEngine Off
    SecFilterScanPOST Off
</IfModule>
