Little question.

When I click to category from the side box it sending me to faq_all. Is it possible to change something to get category requred if you click to category but not all faq listings.

I am not a specialist, but I suspect that there is some problem with database. There are no categories names stored in database at all. Here is screenshot. May be there is some solution? Thank you.

I do not know if this will help you, but look at post #166 and see if that will help you. Also look at the other post there. and also if you read post #180 there was some changes to the mod.

Thank you very much for answer dscott1966. But I got v1.2 installed. I can,t find categories names in DB at all, actually there no categories name fields - they are missed. Kind of miracle, I can't undarstand where they are stored as they are displayed on the side box.

Hi Cattom -
To enter a new category go to Extras->Faq Manager in the admin. Then click on "Faqs and Faq Categories". Then click the button that says "New Category".

By the way, if you are looking straight at the database, I believe all the name and description info for a faq is in the faqs_description table, or some similarly named table.

Thanks to response. This is exactly the problem. I knew how to create categories, I have six of them actually. But the categories names are nowhere into database tables. Simply doesn't exist. How categories names displayed in sidebox and in the faq_all page - puzzle. I made triple search on my database, nothing, only faq_categories_id from 1 to 6. When I clicking to category name from side box it displayed link looks like: my_site//faqs_all.html?fcPath=1, my_site//faqs_all.html?fcPath=2 etk, but displayed all_faq page with the all faqs listed but not faqs into the chosen category.

Just for more understandable description of my problem. At the moment my FAQ_categories box works approximately like if I click on "Scarves" category but products_all displayed.

Yeah... I understand that the individual categories don't display by themselves. That is an issue that needs to be fixed. You can work around this by using html bookmarks on the faqs_all page.
