When a contribution is made, it is made to help others ...

The author is under no obligation to you or anyone else to maintain or fix issues that occure ...

If the contribution is what you are needing and there are issues ... either wait until that contribution is updated ... again there is no "time" element here obligating the author to update it in "your" time frame, if at all ...

Or update the contribution itself so that it works correctly and recontribute it ... if you are so inclined ...

Or higher someone to take the contribution and fix it for you ... and consider re-contributing it for others to use ...

Bottom line is ... no one - either an individual nor business ... is obligated to you or anyone else to maintain a contribution, fix a contribution or support a contribution ...

If it doesn't work for you and you cannot code or cannot afford to hire someone to make it work for you then remove it ...

Meanwhile ... end of arguement ... this is a support thread not a tit for tat thread ...

its so convenient that the points ive made since post one arent the ones being argued.

ill say it one last time....

i dont care if there is a technicality on contributions..this is about character..

if you say you'll fix it, then do it. go back a few posts now and see that otehrs asked about issues and they went unanswered- despite the heap of time spent answering me.

i dont need ZC 101 on contributions- that implies that i dont understand the nature of open source or free will.

i am in fact arguing for both of these things. free will including your word..

say it-do it..dont spend your time arguing why you havent done it.

maybe you cant actually do it?...i never even thought of that..in that case, just say so.

very true..in that case please post wrt to both sides so we can move on.

please kindly remove the contrib as it is obvious that many cant get it to work so thus becomes a source for corrupting the instalaltion or taking it to a state where novice users cannot recover from.

If you don't like it don't use it ...

It will eventually be fixed ...

Until such time ... there is no need to remove it as someone else may wish to fix the issues first ...

So please drop the arguementative confrontation ... you have had your say now let this thread go on to what its purpose is ...
