PayPal/ZenCart Config Issues

Actually, there is no need to set up an IPN or return URL in your Paypal account. The IPN module passes those URLs to Paypal, and those values override your Paypal settings to begin with.

This seems to be the answer I'm looking for as I need to send customers back to a different URL after payment has been made.

Can you tell me which file it is that contains this variable and where to change it please.

I relly need this as PayPal seems to override the url I tell it

You need it to go back to the checkout process page otherwise NO order will be created.

once at checkout process it will display checkout success, from there you can have it forwarded to anywhere you want, but it has to take these steps

I understand. However, how can I forward it to a new URL?

You'd have to account for the entire order making process like Merlinpa1969 mentioned. If you don't then you will get funds from paypal, but no order to go with the funds. You would probably be better off letting Zen process the payment to the order confirmation screen, then picking up any paypal orders and sending them to the URL you want AFTER the order has been made.

Its an IFRAME

and it cant be directed back to .com/
it needs to go to .com/shop/ since thats where the files reside, thats where the configuration resides.

rather than I framing why not just put YOUR header into ZC.

that would solve this delima
