Customers Referral Report - UK

Hi

Im running version 1.35 and my store resides in the UK.

I hav managed to change the date around to fit the UK, i.e. from m/d/y to d/m/y.

The only problem is when I utilise the Customers Referral Report page in admin.

The autodate boxes are still in the US format ie. m/d/y and I need to change to d/m/y

Does anyone know the file Im supposed to amend or point me in the right direction.

I haven't made this change, but it looks like you change the label at
\admin\includes\languages\english\stats_customers_referrals.php

and the drop-downs at
\admin\stats_customers_referrals.php

Of course this is admin, so watch upgrades!


I don't suppose you have found out what this report is meant to do? I get a list sure, but the coupon code drop down despite having several admin and customer issued coupons (discount) and gift vouchers, most redeemed and spent, is empty, or just has unknown.

As such, the report shows me all orders, even those where no coupon is used, and only shows the coupon code in a couple of cases, but does not show say;

FRED sent $100 to JOE JOE spent $150
ADMIN sent $10 to FRED FRED spent $100
ADMIN sent $10 to SUE SUE spent $110
ADMIN sent $10 to LIZ LIZ did not buy this period.

If you have the referral turned on to either be entered by the customer when they create an account or to use the first coupon as their referral code ...

*After* the code has been used at least once it will appear in the dropdown ...

This then tracks customer sales that are made by those customers that signed up with a referral code or were auto assigned one based on 1st coupon used so you can see:
1 coupon was used

2 how often that same referral has continued to bring in business

Thanks for that. I was poking around in this area as a newbie, when I found this post, and followed on with my own question perhaps a little too hastily!

I found how it works, and was about to come back and update or bump my post

I did not have referral processing switched on. I have now and it works. I assume the 'tracking' of gift vouchers is via the table coupon_email_track?

Next post is on tax mode and signups...
