Search Bar

Hi,

I hope someone could help me. I have searched the forum but couldn't find any solution. or I may have missed it "eyes paste stamp"

Is there a way to place the search bar into the main page.

That is, when a visitor comes to my site, the fist thing he sees aside from the usual sideboxes is that the main page is displaying the search bar. Not the "advance search" but just a normal search bar.

Please reply even if it is just a hunch...

Go to the Tools ... Layout Boxes Controller ...

Set the sideboxes/search_header.php to:

Box Details:
Box Name: search_header.php
Left/Right Column Status: OFF
Location: (Single Column ignores this setting) LEFT
Left/Right Column Sort Order: 0
Single Column Sort Order: 0
Single Column Status: ON

This places a search box in the header ...
