Option Value Sort Order

I set up an Option name of PLATFORM with option values of PC or MAC.

PC is sorted as 0 and MAC is sorted as 2

On the product display, the dropdown box shows, but MAC is the default choice. I want PC as the default choice since the majority of customers will choose this.

Even though I sorted it as I want it, it doesn't show that way so have can I get PC to show as the default choice?

You have Sort Orders and you have Defaults ...

On the Option Values Manager ... there are Default Sort Orders ...

Set these to how you'd like things to display ...

Then, go to the Attributes Controller for the Product ...

There is a setting for Update Sort Order ... this sets the Attributes to the Default values if you did not wish to do it manually ...

Next, decide which one you want as the Default selected value and mark that Attribute as the Default ... make sure that you only mark 1 Attribute as the Default ...

The Default will have an Orange icon on it ... the 3rd icon from the left ...

If this has an X through it, then it is NOT the Default ...

Also, be sure your settings are correct for "how" the Attributes are sorted in the Configuration ... Product Info ...
