did anyone have any more luck with the audio clips? I too need to have a separate clip for each item in my shop (records).

I didn't end up using the music player in the site, but I did find a way to do it. I was going to use the wimpy player, it costs $20 for a license, then you just embed it in the product page. You can use any player that suites you, I don't necessarily recommend wimpy, I used it for another site and when I had problems due to the changes in Flash 10's method of handling javascript they were completely unresponsive and I had to hire an outside guy for $100 to fix it. I'm not saying don't use them, if you don't plan on communicating to the player via javascript it's not an issue, I'm just saying be warned that they say the have tech support but aren't responsive in my experience.
I have zen cart 1.39 and I'm trying to have previews of a song on a product description.I've followed the tutorials, and looked at a few examples. Using the media manager, I was encountering a Forbidden 403 error. I changed the .htaccess file, and the tpl_modules_media_manager.
I guess I'm making progress, the player shows up on the page, but when you click play, there's nothing playing. Keep in mind I added the media collection to the product (it shows as linked). Can anybody take a look at it and point me in the right direction? An example is here
I used wimpy player on my previous website and it was a real disaster from the viewpoint of maximizing SEO,
If you use Google's webmaster or similar tools to analyse your store keywords, you will find "wimpy" all over the place, and it is not surprising if you look closely at the files codes. They are literally advertising their product on your back. It took me almost a month to clean up the files. It is better to use Zen Cart's media manager, because the title of each file help search engines like Google to find you music product on the internet.![]()
